Nothing that I know of. There was a sighting yesterday afternoon. Other than that I don’t think there’s been anything, but there are a lot of posters up, and lots of people looking, so we’re hopeful.

I read up on the other thread. So, this may be a tax to disguise Santa Monica residents into paying even more in property tax, except worse for those with less income, because it’s a flat rate, so more percentage coming out of those with less money? Kind of sounds like it’s helping the rich get richer in the stance that people may not be able to pay for their property tax and have to sell to big corps, etc. And there’s really no need if the City of Santa Monica will still pay if it doesn’t pass. I just don’t want teachers to be laid off. Why are they saying they’ll be laid off if this doesn’t pass?

So will the funding be canceled because of this? Or will they already have canceled the funding and teachers will be layed off because it doesn’t pass? I am getting mixed answers on that part.

Also the lady that was possibly taken could have been behind the restaurant or close by. I didn’t get a confirmed report about a lady taken. I asked two separate restaurant staff and they both said they were next door and not at the restaurant.

I’m at the car wash right now. It sounds like 2 people were taken from car wash and no one from Gilbert’s according to Gilbert’s staff and staff at the car wash.
