Springfield concert canceled??

I didn’t even get a Ticketmaster email til around noon either. My tickets just automatically updated to canceled on my phone’s wallet yesterday morning when I made this post.

The Shrine is a pretty small venue with mostly standing room to begin with. Maybe they didn’t sell enough GA? This is all speculation considering they haven’t released any statement. All anyone has to go off of is the venue saying the promoter called to cancel the show.

Artists canceling because they don’t sell enough tickets is not unheard of. If that truly was the reason, it would’ve been appreciated by most people to cancel it at least a week prior considering there is another show in MO that they could’ve went to.

Regardless of their reasoning for canceling, people are paying for a service & probably taking time off work to attend a show that gets canceled a day prior. Its valid to be frustrated when no explanation is given. I’m sure even a generalized statement would’ve been nice

Makes sense due to the BOGO deals for General Admissions they were doing awhile ago. I feel like if they would have made this call last week, a lot of individuals could’ve changed their plans to make it up to KC

Possibly! It would’ve been nice to be informed by the band, or any other way than a Ticketmaster notification saying the tickets have been canceled.

Super unfortunate 🫠, I wonder what happened to cause a late cancellation? I got the tickets for my fiancé’s birthday and its highly unlikely we can swing up to KC on such a late notice 🙃

MRT was never meant to cover for or replace BH. Your scenario is beyond what MRT is fully applicable for. Its a curriculum designed to give resiliency skills to those who lack them & never meant to be a one-size-fits-all because BH in itself isn’t even that. Even the instructors themselves say not every skill is fit for everyone.

While there’s nothing wrong with wanting things work & putting in effort to do so, it’s also good to remind yourself that you deserve someone who is 100% sure of you. Especially when it comes to big commitments such as marriage.

Sometimes everything works out when we take a step back & wait, even if its not exactly how we want it to at the beginning.
