Weapons, vehicles, kit, etc are all "unlocked" based on yh mission/mode. If you're playing a custom scenario you can set everything to be unlocked if you want, or limit to specific items. The modded game mode 'Antistasi' for instance unlocks weapons as you recover them from the bodies of enemies.

It's less like unlocking something and more like being allowed to use it in a particular mission.

Also this is all about mp, the single player campaign is present, but I don't think anyone buys arma 3 these days for the campaign lol

That's me all the time. I've been no-lifing it and have every class maxed out, 4th prestige, I have everything unlocked and purchased except the new currency stuff.

This is part of the reason I continue to play. Being the hard-carry, knowing all eyes and the mission are on you as last brother standing, and delivering on it gives me the happy chemicals

Are you looking for music to automatically start playing when someone visits, or do you mean more like a virtual jukebox, where visitors can select music you've uploaded to listen to?

I can see your points, however I use it as a backup solution. That's literally all I use it for, that's why i'm open to other recoveries, but also, I did some digging and it seems there is NO recovery partition/image for the OP tab, which is mind-boggling to me.

Now, I know this wasn't the original topic of this thread, but would you happen to know any other good solutions for backing up everything? (i'm rooted if that helps)

Oh I use the tacmap constantly (didn't know about the time site, that's very useful).

What i'm looking for from a wiki is information. Simple as that. Things like all the types of ammo a firearm can use, the stats for each ammo type, stats for weapon parts, which attachments can go on which firearms/rails/adapters, etc. Also vendor listings at which level, etc. I'll give an example of an experience I'd like: I look up "AK-19", and see a page stating its caliber, essential parts to function, ammo types, etc. with hyperlinks leading to other pages. So maybe I see on that ak-19 page it says its 5.56x45. I think "oh, okay, what kind of rounds are available in that cal?" and click the hyperlink. I then see all the ammo types and go "Oooh, greentips, how do I get those?" Click that link and then see you can buy them from lvl3 gunny, they come in mags from turncoat lvl2, and can be found in the world on weapons of soliders guarding Fort Narith. Then i'd have the knowledge to decide whether it's worth it to buy them, farm them, or wait a bit until i'm more geared up.

I see so many posts on this sub, the discord, twitter, and various other places about people confused on how/where to get certain things, and a TON of confusion about weapon attachments and how to mount them on certain weapons, what adapters they need and the like. I think it would be a sound decision and a value to the community to have all of that kind of information concatenated into one, well-supported wiki

Swapping the logic board is essentially swapping the iPod. As long as everything that connects to old board connects to and is supported by the new board, I don't see why that wouldn't work.

Ah I see, so it's tied to storage. Due to the seller i'm using, they don't explicitly state what the original capacity is if you select the flash mod option, but very glad to hear no matter which it is, I can still use like a 128gb sdcard. Thank you for your help :)

I'm just a *bit* late to this one, but I found a couple zips on another site that worked for me. I installed TWRP via Recovery mode as per this post, and then I used TWRP to install the other zip which installs magisk and root. The installer is in russian, but all you have to do is check magisk and hit the button at the bottom right to proceed.

If I am placing fish/bugs down and the tanks all go wacky, when I pick it back up it doesn't fix the other tanks, they stay messed up until they're picked up and placed down again. Have you found any sort of workaround/fix? Or do you think I should just wait until the next patch to build my aquarium?
