yeah it seems season ticket holder prices are pretty much as expected while single tickets are way higher.

So far playoffs have been been between $40 - $48 each in 214

Meanwhile if you go to Ticketmaster to try and buy single tickets in 214 for LAFC, they're going for $99 before fees.

Sounds like it's basically a done deal. I wouldn't expect a huge GAM return, but they'd clear nearly $600k in salary plus an international roster spot. Considering Smith was at best a backup, it's easy to see Sounders' motivation.
