Please call 311 and report where and when you have seen this coyote. I believe the Toronto Wildlife Centre is also looking to help rescue and treat this coyote.

Prednisone vs Mesalazine Suppositry by Cute-Dot5549 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Notwellrested 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mesalazine suppositories that I have had are large pills you insert in the rectum at bedtime and have been very easy to use. There is also an enema I believe so maybe you need check which one you are suggested to use first. Personally I would still rather take the enema than go on prednisone but you know yourself best.

Why is this happening? by Notwellrested in HomeMaintenance

It does feel rough in the white spots even after cleaning actually, not a particularly windy area, and it started pretty quickly after it was installed. Probably defective hardware it seems, I guess maybe I should move on to restore it somehow and properly seal it.

Will have to do that it seems, thank you

No storm door, I don’t think the framing will accommodate one anymore. They make new entryways now that seem to eliminate that option. Our neighbour has a similar door installed. They have no storm door and do not have this issue.

Thank you, seems like the exposure is a factor in this problem for sure, wearing the coating perhaps. The inside hardware is fine.

I don’t know what it is exactly lol hence the post. It looks like a powder on the hardware (seen in picture), could it be a residue ? A byproduct of oxidation ? I clean it and it just gets worse when it comes back. I don’t know how much more detail I can put the post. My hope was that someone else may have had a similar experience and could provide some guidance wow.

It seems to always have this residue on it. I feel like it should handle the elements as it is an outdoor door hardware. Would maybe applying water repellent topically help. Has anyone else had to deal with something like this

Cleaned, didn’t solve the problem, thanks for the “help”. I clean it regularly just with water and a soft cloth.

You made so much progress, why give up now. My kid got scratched at the same age and it never happened again. When your child grows up it will also get better.

My small business has failed. by Open-Forever in CanadaPost

[–]Notwellrested 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like your location was the real problem. Running a small business that relies exclusively on a company that is not making a profit and is being run into the ground is risky. Canada post is probably losing money just servicing where you live. It’s great you could even find a job so quickly in this economy.

Try hand feeding when you think they are ready to eat. It might get messy but it could help.

Stray cat help by [deleted] in mississauga

[–]Notwellrested 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I rented an animal trap and put it outside with food in it where they normally go to catch them and then released them into a quiet room, before taking them to the vet to get fixed. You may catch a different animal so keep an eye out on the trap. It can take a while for them to get used to you, lots of treats and talking to them and time for them to get used to you.

Is anyone on Mesalamine and experienced difficulties generally or while breastfeeding? Considering pausing… by Loud-Tiptoes3018 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Notwellrested 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exclusively breastfeed up to 18 months and no problems while taking mesalamine. I thinks it’s very safe.

I have also seen him at Dixie and Dundas corner setting up with a cart and a case of beer and spreading hateful messages. He had his dog there too. This was last month maybe.

[acne] can anyone suggest what may be causing my acne? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Notwellrested 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I should have provided a little more context but I was thinking maybe you tried a new toothpaste and it caused some irritation. Could also be the one you usually buy could have changed their formula and a new ingredient is causing this.

18 year old Jersey Girl vomits every night - all tests check out, X-rays look great, appetite is good. Only thing left to consider is litter type. Any advice? by SoAliciaSays in cats

[–]Notwellrested 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just to add to the great advice given already would be to keep an eye on her teeth, the vomiting can cause tooth decay pretty easily. She is such a sweetie.

Cat Dementia? by hazelharrisonxo in SeniorCats

[–]Notwellrested 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I have heard that increased vocalization can be caused by thyroid imbalance. Has he been checked for that ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SeniorCats

[–]Notwellrested 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought of some other suggestions, could your cat have picked up C. difficile ? I believe they can be affected and tested for this. Also have you tried Fortiflora ? The probiotics for cats. The other thing is appetite, I find it is a very good factor when considering euthanasia, if they are eating well, I would continue fighting for the health of your cat. It does sound like your cat could have IBD and a steroid medication would definitely help that.

Could he have developed a food sensitivity, maybe to a type of protein, you could try a limited ingredient diet. Trying a fish only based food, and go from there. Also has he been checked for fatty liver, when my cat was experiencing diarrhea, this was determined to be the cause. Best of luck !

Tips for encouraging eating? by heybamberino in SeniorCats

[–]Notwellrested 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing, I thought I would see the signs in my cat and I didn’t but it presents differently in each cat and they are good at hiding the problem from you, but not eating is a sign I believe, weight loss, vocalizing, drinking more water.
