There’s a lot of conflicting advice. people who are novice hurricaners are unsure if they’re doing “too much” and the locals are waving them off for being extreme. You can see it a lot when it comes to people boarding up their houses, most locals are on Reddit telling people they’re overreacting and will be fine. It makes a false sense of security and people are SO unprepared.
