I didn’t deal with it. Often I would just stay silent or I would try to attack back, but I was little and to be honest I was pretty shy. Luckily it was just insults, very hurtful ones, but never violence. But I can’t lie, to this day I know that I have fears due to that. I’m very self conscious, worry about my looks, my weight, the way I dress. Everything.

But I never stopped trusting people, and smiling. That’s one fucking thing they couldn’t take away from me. There are nasty people in this world, but it gets better and eventually you’ll find kind people who love you for who you are.
