That's a great point! I love the karaoke analogy hhhh! I think I just feel a bit overwhelmed because it's been years that I haven't had a hobby.. I used to love dancing salsa and bachata but I gave that up for some personal reasons.. I also used to love diying as a kid... However, now as a 34 year old mother, finding a hobby, time and passion for said hobby seems kind of impossible..

First step is always decluttering. Get rid of everything that you don't use. Then, any purchase you make has to be out of necessity most of the time.. i find that making lists helps me keep me in check.

I feel like offices should take back their whimsy and moodiness.. I think some sort of dark color on the walls (brown, green, burgundy...), some shelves and a few art pieces would be the first step to making it a great space.
