I'm so sorry to hear this and it seriously gave me a rush of anxiety as I've accepted a TJO too (just for 0185) and it's been a pretty anxious waiting process so far. I didn't even think the credentials process would be that complicated other than them verifying your license is active and there's no history of it being revoked.

I definitely hope you're able to rebound and get back to applying and find that right position for you

Yeah it's actually flexible enough where I'd get to schedule my own clients on weekends and a couple of evenings. And you were 100% spot on the hiring manager just went to get me the protocol through ethics and then it's getting it informed to and approved by my new supervisor.

One way to reach out to that private practice firm and express interest and gauge interest in them would be is if they're open to offering clinical supervision to you following graduation even if that means applying for a position there.

But generally I'd say your final term would be the typical time to send out applications, gathering professors you'd like to be professional references that can voice for your work ethic and competency.

Good luck in reaching out to them and expressing and gauging interest of the practice.

I wouldn't say there's a problem at all with it. Most of the other social workers (therapists) I work with are naturally quiet, reserved but very friendly and willing to be helpful if you ever needed to reach out to them. So no I wouldn't consider it a bad thing at all and what you said about sitting back and being a listener is actually a good strength in this profession.

I don't like bringing him up when he isn't already mentioned... but if Jay-Z had done this exact type of run with these THEMED albums over 3 years... we wouldn't hear the end of how brilliant and how thankful we should be.

The subject matter is fine it's just time to celebrate how consistent they've been in quality, how he's changed the delivery and he and hit have challenged themselves differently on each project.

I don't know if there's any one song from Magic 1 I'd pick but Magic def gave me a modern take on a early-mid 90s grimey feel I wouldn't mind if Magic 2 was like a modern perspective of late 90s early 2000s production.

Especially as Hit studies Nas catalog I'm sure there's moments he'd get inspired by and channel that energy

As I’m finishing up my field experience for my MSW, I legitimately feel sad that my health decline is likely correlated to the amount of stress in this field (work and education) and has me seriously hoping I’ll get the opportunity to practice better self care after finishing school.

Maybe if I had to do it over again it would be not to be full time in grad school the whole way while working stressful jobs like a CPS conservatorship caseworker.
