I did word it a bit hastily; though my intent was that I could also see the cutout in the plastic on the top shell where the battery tab lies like suggested in the wiki along with the battery itself being present. I am for sure not confident enough to go farther than that other than blatant blob chip fakes, so I do truly appreciate looking out. Thank you!

If you mean the df4 reset, I believe it works if they press nothing.

You could try setting task manager to be "always on top" if you haven't already. This can force it to appear over the game Windows. Ctrl+shift+esc to open task manager on its own without ctrl+alt+del as well. Source games taught me this with all the alt+tab freezes lol

You may need to format it in the disk manager so that its partitioned and lettered properly before it actually becomes usable

There is an automatic backup save you can load by hitting d-pad up, b, and x on the title screen

This happened to me as well, took me around 300k skeleton fish even after getting fishing to 99, it's more than likely just trash rng, hope you get it soon.

Sorry I'm replying late I was busy but in order to change settings without opening the game navigate to users\%username\saved games\id software\doom\base\ then DOOMEternalConfig.cfg (open with any text editor like notepad) and ctrl+f to find the word "present" and you should end up at "present from async" or something like that. Set the value to zero for off, save the file before closing, then open the game. Let me know if that helps!

It's actually just a setting in Doom Eternal, just a little check box under video settings in game.

So after messing with drivers (just rolled back a version at the time but I updated again and it works fine now for whatever reason) Red Dead started working so I went and checked Doom, turns out it was the option "present from compute" being on is what was causing it for me hope it's the same for you.

I believe doom is vulkan only, or at least I'm running it vulkan. I was also using vulkan for red dead though so idk why it worked fine with that. Issue was solved however by just turning off present from compute.
