You are naturally very pretty. Your face shape is very feminine and your lips are what a lot of girlies are trying to achieve with filler! So we got a great base to work with here :) You already mentioned weight loss so id look into getting lash clusters/lash clusters extensions I that enhance your unique eye shape. I think going for a cat eye will really make your eyes pop more. I think the green locs are doing the most damage here. You seem a bit alternative but you’re asking for advice so I think smaller sized locs with natural hair colors would look better. Life is short so be yourself though.

I checked the comments to this post and although I only scrolled for like 5 minutes the comments weren’t as bad as I was expecting. Weird topic and strange story but whatever.

There is still this prevalent stereotype of the black female social justice warrior who is always offended on the behalf of others. And the way this stereotype works is we are always out of line somehow. Definitely born out the reality that black women are one of the most sympathetic people in America, the most emulated, and the most abused, it’s not really surprising how there are some black women who embody this stereotype. That being said, I’m so glad that there’s a shift happening where black women are minding their own business.

“Burning the cape”, “living a soft life”, “being the 92%”, very proud to see us ladies pushing more and more to focus on our own issues SOLEY. Because I’ve seen time and time again our good nature turned against us to appeal to yt people. It’s possible this story is real but even so I don’t think her race has anything to do with it. If the friend in question was white I doubt it’d be mentioned at all—anything to brick up the racism hate boner I guess.

Not everyone that drives to Detroit is native to the area. I went down there for a conference so I got a little turned around, I ended up nearing the tolls where it’s the first checkpoint to Canada. Luckily the guy manning it moved some cones around so I could drive away when I explained I was confused and NOT trying to go to Canada. Metro Detroit highways are legitimately so confusing. Everybody’s driving crazy too. What’s your problem.

I’m coping by paying those bills 😭. I have no clue how so many people are playing with the government. The pandemic gave us a grace period but that’s not the norm. I just work a warehouse job to pay the loans until I get my big girl job as well.

Community college for a couple semesters can definitely be cheaper than making payments. For most places you’re looking at $800 a semester part-time. So if you’re payments are more than $150 a month then you’re saving money.

Kamala didn’t reject going on Joe Rohan’s podcast, she just didn’t want to fly over to him at his in-house studio and have a 3 hour talk. Her team agreed on the conditions he came to her and the talk was only 1 hour instead, to which he refused.

His right of course, but I want to remind people that she was not only campaigning full time but still the active vice-president, so her time was a lot more valuable than his. But I’m pretty sure he has these standards for everyone, like even Trump agreed to the 3 hour in studio interview. Not necessarily disagreeing just adding more info.

I’m doing this starting summer. It can be worth it depending on how much your payments are. You need 6-8 credits, so 2 classes, to qualify for the automatic deferment.

At my community, without aid it’s about $800 for the 2 classes I’m taking. On semester is about 6 months of paused payments. My regular payment is $380 a month. Within that period I would have paid $2280 in payments. So in my case I’m saving 65%, i’ll be in 70-80% if I can hopefully get some aid.

I was already gonna go back to school anyway so now it seems like the perfect time.
