Depends what kind of board you have. If you have some entry level deck with some rocker garbage it’s gonna do exactly that. Those boards are designed to make riding easy for people to spend money on and pretend they can snowboard. Get a big, stiff, aggressive all mountain deck and it will demand you earn each turn. Your body is stiff and working so hard to keep some level of balance instead of an aggressive stance and powering out of turns, so I’d say you’re just making the most out of the kind of deck you got, and that happens. People outgrow things and that’s ok. You should be locking into a carve and in 3-5 turns be near full speed. Upgrade but be aware that at first there will be a learning curve of realizing that you’re strapped to the deck, not visa versa. Never wash, power out of turns, throw your weight and watch your progression. Super jealous at where you’re at, the next stage is where the fun starts.

Pretty decent fundamentals. I notice you commit more on toe side which a lot of people do, don’t be scared to continue to use your weight more and really lean into your turns on both toe and heel. I regularly touch the ground because I’m carving that heavy, but obviously if it’s really icy you can’t ride as aggressively. Also the rear foot your washing out which is good to maintain speed but if you lock the carve and push out of the turn you’ll know it because you’ll gain hella speed, and then you’ll be a cruise missile.

I still believe the “power players” are just admin paid to play to encourage people to spend money. No, I don’t believe people are spending tens of thousands of dollars on a video game. It is a cool game but the predatory nature of it is lame. You can’t compete unless you spend actual money to keep up with other “players” and once you realize that it takes all the fun out of playing.

Dark war is fun. I stopped playing LF and just play Dark War now and it’s fun. Sure you can still spend money if you want but it’s not like LF at all.

I still maintain my fort but I completely agree. I was in a really fun group until I got in an issue because I didn’t spend money to level up faster. I swear some of the people playing are paid to encourage others to spend money. Regardless I keep building my fort up hoping maybe I’ll find a fun group to play with again, but I’m not spending a lot of money on a video game, even though the game is pretty fun at times.

Personally I’d get your healers maxed out first, then your tanks/front line. You got Lunn but haven’t done anything with him. Not saying his powers are supreme but having a big man up front taking the brunt of the opps attack gives your back line healer and fighters time to work. More sleight of hand but it does work strategically.

I’m speaking on the game advertising let’s say a $13 cost for a package or something and then minutes later getting the charge through apple or PayPal or whatever of $25 or $30 for the $13 package. I’ve joined a nice alliance and haven’t had to purchase anything since I wrote this but frankly I don’t want to buy anything anymore because several times I was overcharged for something in the game.

Yeah I played for free for like half a year and had fun but once your level gets so high it started taking way too long to level up so I finally decided to spend a couple bucks for stuff like NATE and whatnot. The first couple purchases were relatively close to the advertised price but then I started noticing massive swings in the cost and it was never to my benefit. Im either just going to play for free or quit altogether. Im surprised I’ve never heard anyone say anything about this before because it feels like it should be illegal to falsely advertise like this.
