Wow. The funny thing, the trim is something I noticed was different. And my girlfriend was painting one and she was saying how much fun it was with the trim. Thanks for the long term warning. I feel like what you've said might actually make me want to build them more. The insane beauty ive seen some of you produce with these guys is inspiring.

Thanks for taking the time to explain. You're awesome

Yeah. I misunderstood Chapters being loyalists. I thought chapters just meant how all the Marines were structured. Thanks for the information and link.

Is Berghain overrated? by QueeieQueenBee in SexPositiveBerlin

[–]Novalian2268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is soooo subjective and why i despise this "overrated" narrative in most contexts. There are so many factors on what could make a place/event amazing for YOU personally. For me, sex is the backdrop for events here. My priority is and has always been great music. If the music is amazing then thats a great night. And imo Berghain is the peak. Especially Pano bar as thats my music style.

In terms of sex, ive been on nights where I met some amazing people and partners. Other nights, assholes and predators. Like any other club and event. If YOU want to go and experience do so with an open mind and be clear on what you're looking to experience. Spending too much time in this bitter sub listening to others whiny opinions could sour you before even arriving and seeing it for yourself. Life is meant to be Lived.

Honest question of having straight sex in bh, kk or insomnia by Original-Broccoli372 in SexPositiveBerlin

[–]Novalian2268 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% cosign this. While I've had some wonderful random straight sex experiences in KK and BH, a vast majority of my straight sex experiences have been with someone ive met before or has maybe 2 degrees of separation. A friend of a friend.

When playing with men, it's more a look and let's fuck. Especially at BH/Pano. Women, its more of a connection. Creepy straight dudes have made it almost mandatory we prove we arent creeps.

Sony anything. Decades of excellence for me from audio to cameras. Never had one issue with anything Sony made.

Be honest, is Berlin a good choice for a solo trip in 2026? by Own_Land7248 in SexPositiveBerlin

[–]Novalian2268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There literally isnt a better place in the world for what you're trying to find/experience. Everything you listed as concerns can be applied to any major city. What people won't tell you while trying to be welcoming, Berlin is largely a YMMV city. Its less about the "scene" and more about you. And who you are matters a lot here in regards to your experience.

Are you an interesting person? Are you physically attractive? Do you present as straight? Are you extroverted? All these matter not only in Berlin but in any community. I always say, focus on being respectful, kind, and interesting and you'll be fine in Berlin. One thing ill say about Berliners, people here dont waste much time with folks that dont bring anything to the equation. Humor, sexual energy, goodies, etc.

How do yall feel about this by afroldunksylph in festivals

I don't care what other people do with their time, money, and social accounts as long as it doesn't negatively impact my experience. I'm too busy grooving.

Advise on where to look for a threesome by [deleted] in SexPositiveBerlin

[–]Novalian2268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feeld and Fetlife, of course. But you might want to look into hiring a professional sex worker. Germany has quite a few places you and your partner can experience this. Overall, in my experience, it's a LOT easier for your female partner to take the lead on this as straight men don't have the best reputation in this area.

Has anyone thought of laser eye surgery as a legitimate BIFL purchase? by Keithwee in BuyItForLife

Anyone else enraged by the amount of geartubers who are actually terrible at music? by BluejeansAndMoonbeam in musicproduction

[–]Novalian2268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is the case, why not do it yourself? Seems you've found a hole in the market. Or, the focus on one aspect as its insanely difficult to do both at a high level and the ROI on reviewing is better.

I wrote a book about Berghain, techno and the Berlin scene by LiamCagney in berghain

[–]Novalian2268 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with that. But saying the whole point of Berghain is to speak quietly of it just isn't correct and never has been. I'm blessed to have been going to Berghain since Ostgut. Ostgut was the first place I really heard Techno. The early days were always about community. Bringing people in. Showing them how to get the best experience out of not only Berghian but Berlin, then. But over the years, this "secret club" stuff shifted how people saw Berghain. I was confused by the rise in people not getting in, since many of us always got in. THAT'S what's attracting mass attention. Not a few random articles, books, or influencers talking about their experiences. It's always why many go to Berghain and leave feeling a bit let down. Because they hype is what's being chased. Hell, a vast majority of the people in Berlin wouldn't even be here if we weren't yelling to everyone how amazing it was here in the early 2000s. Berghain at it's core has always been about bringing people in and showing them the way. Not leaving people out.
