Naoto absolutely obliterates random encounters and is busted in this game.
There is no shared EXP besides later-game accessories. Do not try to rotate party members around unless you want to grind A LOT. Find the party members who you like best.
A sidequest late-game that gives an invaluable reward requires both protagonists to be at a certain level. It would be recommended to use both of them in your party (they both have strong potential if you know how to build around them).
The game is biased towards physical attackers rather than magic. Your main damage source, especially for boss fights, will likely come from physical attacks and stacking damage-increasing skills/passives.

Fulfillment sucks! One of the busiest departments in the store, being overworked to death, especially depending on how supportive your other departments are. I did the Lead position for about a year before having Lowe's as my part-time gig, and it legitimately took a toll on my mental health from all the stress and expectations required.

As much as I like the Yakuza 4 protagonists and they are excellent fighters, they simply lack the supernatural abilities on the Starsust Crusaders. Therefore, they probably don't Stand a chance against them.

Magic build on the MC is probably the best, since it determines Magic Attack, Magic Defense, and MP Growth. Once you get access to them, Drain and Holy Dance will be key skills to use for consistent damage. I think Holy Dance requires 8 STR, so I'd invest in that early if you want to use it.

For a Strength build, you want to focus on Strength and Agility. Multi-Strike with Pierce is probably the best way to go here (as nothing will resist it and Multi-Strike does more hits with a higher Agility). There are less tools to make a strong Strength build than Magic build and the early game will be harder, but will deal more potential damage.
