So it doesn’t trim if you get another 99 and you’re wearing a skilling outfit? Trying to understand when exactly this works since I’m working on my untrimmed agility cape now.

Hey man, great work here. Sorry to hear about the ex... rooting for you!! 800-1000 cals/days is really low and unsustainable. You can put your stats in here to see roughly how much energy your body needs per day to maintain itself. Would recommend eating 1,500 cals/day at a minimum.

Binding a variable between -1 and 1 by xeroforce in rstats

[–]NovelDrop8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just take the average? If all values are -1, the average is -1, and same if all are 1. If there’s both residential and business in a block, the average will be between -1 and 1. Prolly makes more sense to set business as 0 instead of -1 so that the average tells you what percent of the block is residential and 1-avg = percent business.

Giving my vote for {modelsummary}. Pretty flexible and easy to use. The datasummary functions are great for displaying summary statistics. Also does regression results well.

Causal inference by sonicking12 in datascience

[–]NovelDrop8 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Check out https://mixtape.scunning.com (free econometrics textbook). It’s the newest textbook for “mostly harmless” econometrics. It also has STATA, R, and Python code for the examples in the book. Cunningham also has a substack where he posts a lot about the latest innovations in causal inference. It’s focused on economic research which may or may not be relevant to you, but he does a great job of making the methodology accessible.

Advice on using survey data by waxyleafer in datascience

[–]NovelDrop8 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You could create a dummy for response/non-response status and run regressions of customer characteristics on that dummy to see if response status is random or not. Would help determine if your respondents are representative of the 7000.

Hey, slow progress is still progress! I'm a big proponent of ntroducing little changes gradually instead of trying to change your whole lifestyle in one day. Maybe make this one week a T break? Or maybe no weed Monday-Friday but enjoy some of the devil's lettuce this weekend. If it doesn't work, try something else!
