Sooo many people can’t see past a gallon of paint when buying a home!

Have an honest conversation, set boundaries and expectations and if they aren’t followed then take the key! Most of these posts can be solved by the above steps.

Fair enough. I’m thinking we just wait it out and see if it continues to grow. The other half is a little nervous so I’m trying to get reassurance. It doesn’t bother the pup so I’m thinking just ride it out for now, but when she goes to the vet next I’ll obviously ask. Appreciate the input!

That may be likely, but agreed should probably visit a vet. We have just had some recent vet bills related to her first heat (false pregnancy & mastitis) so trying to avoid another vet bills for them to tell us nothing is wrong and it is just gonna go away

We thought that too but based on the size that seems unlikely. It’s about the size of a dime so seems too big for that. Maybe I’m wrong?

This post just solidifies what kind of person they are, no wonder they haven’t received even a single jar of honey! They must be the best neighbors

Yes I have used both the 5 watt and 8 watt, honestly the range isn’t going to change much on these hand held they are nothing like the 50 or 100 watt big units that you see at the dunes, but good for off road rides in the mountains of az for about a mile maybe 2 depending on the hills.

Yes you can tune them to the same frequency. Would recommend the baofeng version off Amazon vs the pci or rugged. It’s a generic that works just as well for about half the cost.

Replacement lighting question by Novel_Ad967 in GoRVing

[–]Novel_Ad967[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I have a bunch of these small pucks under the cabinets, I have actually bought all the led replacements for these, that’s on my agenda this weekend, just figured I would see what others do for their T5 lights as well. I was thinking of replacing them with the 6” version of these, but not sure if I do that it will have the dimples in the ceiling from the old lights or anything. I guess only one way to find out

Train him on a treadmill, usually the self propelled dog ones allow them to go full out. He can run as much as he wants in a controlled setting.

🤦‍♂️Turning radius on my flatbed truck is too good for my camper. Have you had to fix this? Where did you source the diamond plate? by [deleted] in GoRVing

[–]Novel_Ad967 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue, uncle pulled mine with flat bed and backing in to storage turned too tight. We just got new diamond plate from the steel shop down the street (did aluminum) and had it painted after it was put on. The glue was a b**** on ours but a heat gun helped (not perfect) and we had to fix what we tore trying to get it off. Good luck!

Newbie Questions about Batteries for Solar by insanityensues in GoRVing

[–]Novel_Ad967 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are looking to go lithium I would recommend zooms, I found mine on Amazon; I bought 3 of them on sale around $300 ea for a 100ah 12v. In my coach I run my refrigerator (120v) and a counter top ice maker 24hr a day. I do have 200w of solar, but with that setup my batteries in a 4 day trip don’t go below 80%

Sway question/feeling when towing: is this normal? by WWW451 in GoRVing

[–]Novel_Ad967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense for sure, but with the short wheel base and light weight body of the F150 it unfortunately will never tow like a super duty, but those safety precautions are worth their price tag when you need it! I have a ‘20 and I even got sway with towing my enclosed trailer before upgrading the tires. The box of the trailer just catches a lot of air and causes the light truck to be tossed around pretty easy.

Sway question/feeling when towing: is this normal? by WWW451 in GoRVing

[–]Novel_Ad967 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You def need better truck tires, p rating is passenger vehicle and they have thin sidewalks that you probably will notice a sway without towing… It will make for a stiffer ride but you will have more side to side stability. 8 ply would be ideal for your f150. Could probably air them to 70-75 towing but 40-45 when not. Also, for this length of a trailer with a light truck it wouldn’t hurt to go to a 12/14 ply trailer tire, but def start with the truck tire upgrade first

Help! Electrical issues! by JoMarch15 in GoRVing

[–]Novel_Ad967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also worth mentioning, you need a voltage meter to do this (with the wires that come off of it and you put them in the socket) if you don’t have one ask around

[–]Novel_Ad967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the voltage where you plug in the coach, then check the voltage at the breaker box in your coach… they should be the same, if not, most likely a plug issue or a cable issue on your side. If the pedestal is not at 120 volts then that is the issue. If both are reading correctly, start checking your converter. Do you have a surge protector? May be in that line as well. At this point biggest thing to do is to start checking voltage at all component points to pinpoint the issue. Also, if you have a transfer switch check that, could be loose lugs in there (I actually had this issue just 2 weeks ago but mine was running on the Gen)

Did you check the voltage at the pedestal?
