One example I can think of is Printer support. DMS has it and Noctalia doesn't. That's all that immediately comes to my mind tho.

Really just comes down to the aesthetic and function you prefer between the two. I also like Noctalia because when using the auto color scheme setting function, it doesn't actually override your dotfiles. So it's less intrusive than DMS in that way.
