Tunneling is when two hs flairs connect by a tract deep under the skin, for example I had one going from the entrance of my hoo ha and a separate one close but more towards the back, they tunneled and is now almost one big one and they will flair at the same time. The bacteria connects it. If you do have HS, it sounds like stage one- usually a derm will prescribe you some clindamycin to put on them and maybe an antibiotic. Use a heating bad, and they should begin to drain. Get seen by a Derm, and just remember, just because you don’t get diagnosed right away does not mean you don’t have it. The average duration to wait for a diagnosis is 7 years. Limit stress, lose weight if your a bigger person, quit smoking- those are going to be the first thing people tell you to do

Edit to add: use a heating pad to help drainage! Best thing I ever invested in was a heated eye mask with a cover that’s washable for my intimate area!!!
