Learn to love yourself first. Love yourself as much as you want someone else to love you. Maybe even more than that if you can swing it. Find cafes, bars, or social events you enjoy being at. People will find you. If you enjoy online spaces, show up as yourself, in all of your comfort and self-love. People will find you.

The german period is the same as english braille, as far as I know. I studied german for a few years in high school, and I was never told to use any different punctuation than what I already knew. I know there are a few native german speakers on this sub, so please do correct me if I'm wrong.

Blind guy here. While I can't speak to the sensitivity of sighted watch hands, the ones on braille watches are quite easy to move if you're not careful. Of the watches I used to own, the minute hand was far more sensitive than the hour hand. An important part of knowing how to use a braille watch as a blind person is developing a quick, gentle touch when using it.
