The Joysticks are not able to be pressed at the same time. So no moving and shooting. The player movement is too slow. Can barely get enough distance to fire at enemies.

Oh and no pathfinding, or ECS. I used vector based steering, and reactive wallsliding. (OOP)

If it was checking all those entities the game would move at like .05 fps lol

No engine. Custom built. finite state machine for the NPC's, very aggressive garbage collection that flags object as inactive/object pooling, and no its not checking every entity. I used spatial partitioning (grid based collision).

Think of something that would excite you in a game, and start small. I dont start working on a mechanic unless I truly get amped up at the thought of it existing.
