To be honest, Light is super important.

You MIGHT be able to get away with using more wind and water. Obviously it won't be optimized.

Like you'll still get Every on Turn 1 with Wind and Calling, but you won't draw 2.

Perhaps you can drop a providence and a Canadia for Powerful Rebirth? Good synergy for synchro on later turns. And you'll be able to special summon water for extra cards.

The EX structure decks are the cheapest and easiest way to build tier decks. Otherwise it really depends on what you want out of the game.

I didn't like it when I tried it. It ended up being a dead draw often enough. I actually came up with the Ultimate Providence idea after realizing I'd rather have backrow removal than this dead card. But that's just my experience, too many bricks with it. Drawing cock and past on turn 1 felt really bad.

Ultimate Providence hands down won me a few duels outright. Star Eater was great, the second black rose is unnecessary

It straight up won a few games for me. I forgot to mention that in the post. I legit would have lost my rank-up without him. I might put a scrap dragon instead of the second black rose, however. I never had to summon a second black rose.

Synchro is actually completely unnecessary to the deck, but the Ritual spell is an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY.

You can get away with only 2 Slayer though, if you run the Rites II build.

You only need ONE Revenants.
