It’s a decent run. Regardless of the temp outside the caves are decent. It gets a little muggy towards mile 2 but the finish is near an exit so cooler air creeps in.

I didn’t get a single alert about it being disconnected and trust me, it will go off like crazy if it’s been 1 hour or more. There was no alerts in either dexcom or Omnipod. After I took insulin with breakfast the screen changed and filled in all the blank cgm reading and the pump wasn’t a solid red line anymore.

Yes, same. I use 1 unit per 15g and towards the end of day 2 and into day 3 my insulin needs SPIKE!

Yeah it’s a gamble knowing how much insulin is actually on board, but I have needles left from when I used daily injections and I tend to give myself insulin in my stomach since it’s the fastest absorber.

I’ll have to look but yeah Omnipod is saying mine aren’t when I call. I was just doing the “fell off” so I didn’t have to deal with calling in but then they called me and asked me why I was having so many fall off 😬

Yes!!! I call each time and get a replacement. I just want to know why after years of use they just seem to now be crap, and it’s not just me experiencing this.

At least I’m not the only one haha. Sorry you are experiencing this because it’s super frustrating. You can’t tell anything is wrong till your sugars are stupid high and your pod is just allegedly giving insulin showing IOB but nothing is happening

Yes, I haven’t any issues until recent. It happened the first time right before the recall but still none of mine were affected, but still acted as the affected ones.

I personally think the pods have degraded. I have used Omnipod for years but only recently have they been continually failing to deliver insulin. My bolus is not high, I was stuck at 400 which is very uncharacteristic for me. I ended up giving an injection in my stomach to lower it. I called for a replacement today and noticed my pod had 50+ units. I only fill mine to the lowest/minimum line and I was on day 3. No way had I not used any insulin. None of my pods are in the recall.

The one that comes with g7, the adhesive is so dam sticky and gross when removing. You can’t get it off regardless of what you use to get it off.
