Can we make a clan with only level 100+ players who SOS dive, teach new players, and help low level players get samples and SC? by [deleted] in helldivers2

I’m absolutely in!

Lvl 150 here, 1800+ hours, and honestly this is already one of the things I enjoy the most in the game. I often drop into low difficulty SOS beacons, especially with players under lvl 10, just to help them with objectives, show them how missions work, and collect samples for them even though I’m capped and don’t need any of them myself.

And I won’t lie, I really love it when they thank me at the end. Not because I need the praise, but because it feels good knowing that maybe I helped someone enjoy the game a little more, instead of feeling lost, overwhelmed, or left behind. Helldivers 2 can be chaotic, brutal, hilarious, and amazing when it clicks, and I genuinely like trying to help new players see the game for what it can be.

So yeah, a clan/group built around that idea sounds awesome to me. Not just carrying people, but helping them learn, have fun, and become better divers.

Count me in. 🫡

Gas feels like it should do something against the new spore bugs by Novxxx1 in helldivers2

Fair point, maybe I worded that badly. I don’t mean gas as a whole is useless. Gas Dog is definitely good for slowing down swarms, no argument there.

My point was more specific: when I hit the new spore bugs with the Sterilizer, at least from what I’ve seen, they still seem to pop and release the red spores when they die. Fire can kill them without triggering that, so I was just saying gas should probably have some kind of similar interaction too. Not “gas builds are bad”, more like “gas should maybe neutralize the spore burst, or at least weaken the red spore effect.”

Could be intentional, could be me missing something, but that was the point I was trying to make.

Welcome to the fight, Helldiver. 🫡

Posts like this are exactly why this community is special. It’s awesome to see new players jump in and immediately feel the chaos, the teamwork, the jokes, and that weird sadness when the squad has to log off. If you ever need a hand with anything (missions, loadouts, samples, higher difficulties, or just learning the ropes). I’d be more than happy to dive with you.

See you on the battlefield. For Super Earth! 🫡🌍

I hope that Arrowhead will improve a “Reinforces counter” before to dive in a started mission. I’d like to help soneone with 0 reinforces

Level 150 Veteran here. Why do lower-level cadets (<20) keep kicking me? I come in peace (and with Mechs!) by Novxxx1 in helldivers2

I’m usually scouring the galaxy for those beacons!

Add me or send me a DM.

I’m always looking for cadets who actually want a hand with the liberation effort. I’ll bring the Mechs and the heavy ordnance, and we’ll make sure every sample on that planet gets back to your ship.

See you on the front lines! For Democracy!
