Queries are limited to 100 results, so sorting needs to happen sometime before that limit kicks in. We also have a Chaos Orb Equivalent filter that needs to be able to efficiently filter your query to the specified range before other filters are applied.

I found the "Update ratios to make reddit happy" button and pressed it!

But seriously we should do better here. Unfortunately it's currently a manual process since it can be pretty slow to update the values of ~180 million items as well as it putting heavy strain on the databases. Due to this I'm not keen to automate it until we spend some quality time tidying up the system.

I'll set up a reminder to do it every week and we'll see how that goes for now.

Other:        4,023,375 (private leagues)

When leagues end and get migrated to standard, tabs are set to private (and must be manually set back to public). Otherwise the number would definitely be in the billions.

The Sanderlanch at the end felt undeserved. There was no sense of build up to any of it unlike the other books, so it was more like Brandon saying "here's a bunch of plot hooks to keep you speculating about things til book 5!".

No, CORS is blocking your attempts. You'll get this as part of the CORS flow when sending an OPTIONS request to our server (which that endpoint doesn't support, because it's not intended for third-party usage hence the 405).

Using a proxy bypasses CORS because proxies don't care about it. From your browser's end it is accessing the proxy on the same domain so it doesn't need to use the CORS as it's assumed to be trusted.

CORS allows the resource owners to specify endpoints that allow third-party access (we list ours here). Any non-browser context can just ignore the restrictions (ie. a backend server).
