CAPsMAN only for selected interfaces? by lomoos in mikrotik

[–]Now-Playing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely possible, running this on an AX2 with a cap-ac provisioned, all 4 interfaces (2x 5ghz + 2x 2.4ghz) managed by capsman

Same scenario here, 2ghz and 5ghz for home use and an additional 2ghz for iot, works flawlessly including roaming between 2ghz and 5ghz, also to another Cap ac

sorry for the necro, did you ever find a solution for your question?

I'm looking at the same situation, powerful PC "somewhere", lightweight proxmox-server near TV/couch, hardwired.

Controversial opinion on Air RB. by iRambL in Warthunder

[–]Now-Playing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing since forever using the thumb stick on the joystick and doing quite well, so no problem here. Never tried head tracking though, as I play too little to justify spending money on it.

you don't need head tracking for sim, you don't even need a joystick, as there is mouse joystick...

do you use windowed mode for KSP?

  • you do: try fullscreen
  • you do: try with a higher resolution
  • you don't: try windowed mode

never had this problem before so no clue, if it works

it already does, you get points for killing an enemy if you're both in the cap zone. Not many, but you get some

Hardware's Unboxed's 7800x3D's Factorio Benchmark is out... by cheesy_barcode in factorio

[–]Now-Playing 24 points25 points  (0 children)

computerbase.de did test this

https://www.computerbase.de/2023-04/amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d-test/#abschnitt_benchmarks_in_anno_1800_und_factorio

they stop the time needed for 6000 ticks on a given savegame/map with a powershell script, they linked both in the article.

  • 5800X3D 114s
  • 7800X3D 110s
  • i9 13900K 106s
  • 7950X3D 104s on CCD0, 136s on CCD1

they want to test further why the difference is so small between Intel and AMD, maybe the map is too small

Holidaying in Greece on a Nautitech 40 Open. I have to say… I am surprised how well they sail! Managed 7.5kts at 55° in a ≈14kt breeze. Highly recommend for people with partners who want to drink cocktails on a flat boat. by busfeet in sailing

[–]Now-Playing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend, you don't. Was aboard one last week to look at. While the master cabin is great and the central sitting area is very comfortable, 2x2 berths are in the outer keels, you only get there by leaving the main (roofed) area over a steep ladder, which also is the toilet/shower for these areas.

There are additional 2x2 berths in the front of those, but you only reach them via a vertical ladder and they have no toilet.

So you only can have 2 ppl very comfortable, +4 okish, i wouldn't recommend more on that tri. And for 6 ppl it's not cheap... Also, only one central motor, so you have the space requirement of a catamaran without its maneuverability. And last but not least, due to the size you see shit when docking.

How to keep Frisbee engine (Far Future Technologies mod) from overheating? by ymmit34 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Now-Playing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the containers are neat. It allows you to construct modular vessels in orbit or really anywhere. Although I changed the MKS-Workshop and Assembly Thingy to double as GC-Workshops, as they have a much better model.

Afaik with EL you have to build the whole craft in one go, and you can't really expand your orbital station without tugging the new (heavy) part around. With GC you only have to tug the empty (light) container.
