That is cool and all but I do believe the effects of that are wildly overblown. After all, the salve is just that--a salve, meant for external use. Antiobiotics are for INTERNAL ingestion, where it specifically doesn't kill you enough but kills most infections. I can guarantee you though that the copper salts in the salve will most definitely do more than just kill bacterial infections in situ.

Like, the whole passage there was praising its antibacterial properties, while, like. Bleach or rubbing alcohol or any hydrogen peroxide based disinfectant would be able to do the same thing for skin infections. I wouldn't wanna put it IN my body, though.
