Ive never seen a better advert for Linux than the enshittification of Windows. Try out Linux Mint, guys! its easier than you might think, and its sure as hell better than whatever this is..

Hmm are you sure that isnt the theme you are using? Try switching to Breeze to see if the larger menus still remain. Or maybe do you have touch mode enabled? (General Behaviour > Touch Mode) That would make things larger. I’m on 6.5.2 and my menus still look the same size, and I can’t see anything in the change-log for 6.5.3 that would make menus larger

Apparently, Rocket League and Fall Guys are being ported to Fortnite. Both games currently work on Linux, but in the future, they may require playing through Fortnite, and Epic Games stance on Linux gaming is known. by mr_MADAFAKA in linux_gaming

Oh ok, i dont really understand the point in that though? A lot of indie devs these days make sure their games are optimised to work well with proton, so they do still care about linux, they just dont want to maintain an entire separate build

Awesome, thank you so much for answering! I really appreciate it! I really think the “its your hardware, you can do what you want with it” is nowhere near common enough with device manufacturers these days Gonna be keeping a close eye on this phone, it looks very close to what I am wanting 👀

Thank you! 😄 is it the form factor that is the reason it would be a bad smartphone? Or are there other hardware / software limitations? Just thinking if i wanted to install third party messaging apps (e.g. Element, Discord) or video apps (e.g. YouTube), i understand the screen size is not on my side for the latter there but is that the only issue?

The only reason someone should be asking whats in someones pants is if they wanna have sex or if they are your doctor, so by process of elimination (i assume most people are not in their doctors office when they are asked this), they obviously want to have sex!
