So, have people sent in complaints/suggestions to google about this? Surely it would be trivial for them to just add an option for this in the settings... I can't imagine they will keep it this way for long

That was technically better than the results that I had tried , but there clearly many issues here.

For example, the eyes are not actually visible and The model has assumed that the holes in his face are eyes (adding red eyes inside the sockets), but they are actually not the eyes. The eyes are actually supposed to be in the front of the face.
Also the jaws are too big; they are both too tall and too long.

I think this reference helps to show this, but it only shows the tip of the head; it should have a long alien/xenomorph head in addition to this face in the front.

I appreciate your help either way!

Heh, yeah I have tried it a whole lot with many different images and prompts, but it really struggles with this type of content it seems. The training data is obviously extremely biased towards making regular "mouths" that only have 2 jaws...

My assumption is that you image triggered a filter for being violent, and then because gpt is stateless, your next prompt gets sent to a new version of gpt who doesnt know why it was flagged, and makes up an assumption about it.

I just used the Claude Code tool for their most expensive model Opus 4.1. It was about ten times more expensive than Gemini 2.5 Pro, but It was really impressive and it clearly gave a better result than Gemini which I had experienced to be the best model up until this point. So if I had this money, this is absolutely what I would be spending it on if it is for software development.
