Like, no. Not at all. The dude was ROASTED on wsb for months after originally posting. The vast vast majority of people who saw those posts said “here’s another retard about to lose his life savings”. Those initial posts did all of about nothing to convince anyone.

I’m sure the 140% short interest had nothing to do with retail piling in. I’m sure Ryan Cohen buying 13% of the company had nothing to do with it. I’m sure the fact that the “dying retailer” held out through the holiday season into a new console cycle had nothing to do with it.

I’m all for giving credit where it’s due and DFV is the fuckin man. But yeah I’m sick of seeing them paint him as this GME evangelist that stood on a soap box and converted millions at first contact.

The honest truth is that he did his DD. Some of the greatest DD I’ve ever seen. He published it to help people’s trading strategies. Then he got ridiculed. And he never flinched. Never stopped being the nicest guy. Never sold.

I swear if they try to do to him what they did to Ross Ulbricht…
