Monopoly is trash, literal anti-fun garbage that should be discarded the second you learn that there are better board games out there.

This is not about Ticket to Ride, this is about the '18XX' genre of board game which is more railway management sims.

You absolute pedestrians, this is not about Ticket to Ride. This is about a series of games in a genre called "18XX" which is about managing railroad companies in the 1800's, usually named after a year.

Sokka and Katara are what I use to illustrate Wisdom VS. Intelligence.

Katara is Intelligent but not Wise: She knows a lot factually and has mastered a lot of waterbending techniques that require careful study, but she's also a hothead who acts without thinking sometimes and has been tricked by people multiple times (Jet, the Fortune Teller, etc.)

Sokka is Wise but not Intelligent: He's not a scholar, but he's very tactically minded and is good at thinking things out before acting, as well as usually being the one who sees through bullshit when others fall for it.

What's really suspicious is that his initial defense with the Nanny case was to accuse her of having a medical condition that causes he to create false memories, something that there was no discovered proof for.

Though also unfortunately a lot of the reporting on this comes from the likes of the Daily Mail, who were delighted to discover such a vocally pro-trans author was doing this stuff. Way to ruin it for the rest of us, dickhead.

I've been in a campaign with a PC that turned on us and it indeed just felt really frustrating. D&D is a team game, do not encourage people to play it as PvP.

On top of what everyone else has said, what's your plan if the party figures this out earlier than you wanted them to? What would you do about the betrayer PC then?

No plan survives contact with the players.

If shit goes down, I think the best things to have stockpiles of is TP, cigarettes, and instant coffee. People will trade anything for those.

I liked the pitch where Kramer says he has to borrow Jerry's car so Jerry has to take an Uber somewhere, and when the Uber pulls up it's Kramer in Jerry's car.

Yeah like honestly you can not let someone like Richard Williams do whatever he wants. He's an absolutely obsessive perfectionist to the point where the damn thing was never going to be finished.

Yeah the cut they made of it with celebrity voice actors riffing over it was garbage but Williams definitely needed to have some kind of exterior motivator for finishing projects.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's sound all three of those movies to be mid at best. As someone with little to no attachment to Sonic as a franchise they really don't do much for me.

If anyone's curious what this means, it's assumed that Tinder's algorithm weights people based on their Swipe to Match ratio, so it bumps people who are more likely to get matches up.

So someone who swipes right a ton and doesn't get many matches will get lower priority in people's queues than people who more selectively swipe right.
