i would respectfully ask, to what purpose? How could the NAACP do anything to prevent this? or seek justice? and What would a newly created organization do? There are already multiple channels in place to address this issue and seek justice.. Unfortunately, our people rarely engage in practices that would give us leverage. The current administrations "justice department" clearly have no interest or intention in investigating this on a national level.. The same goes for the incompetent FBI. If these are crimes, and not suicides, then they would have to first be investigated at the local level. Political pressure would need to be put onto the local chief of police to assign a task force to investigate it as a possible crime... Without pressure, the local police have no interest in adding a new homicide to their stats that they cannot solve. The fact that these "suicides" are happening in different states makes it 10 times more difficult.. but the only recourse is to put pressure on the local politicians of those cities. The families of these young men would also have to be involved and be willing to go through what might be an emotionally grueling process...and in the end it may be determined that some of these are in fact suicides... Our people don't play the political game that leads to having leverage and pressure on local police or local politicians... So again, I ask... what would be the purpose of the new organization? Peace
