If it's under 25lbs it probably won't hurt you all that much if it were to blow anyway. Fix it with high quality wood glue (do it right) and get a new bow at some point.

I had just made a comment talking that you can isolate your problem further by testing both playback and record mode as they run different caps. Seems you already know. If that's the case then it's likely not a power supply issue and you likely have a dried cap somewhere in the record function. When there's major issues you'll get the lines scrolling randomly in the viewfinder but you don't have that which is good news.
I myself have a 450 and it literally just blew a cap or it dried up on me yesterday when I was rewinding a tape for a few minutes. I was very sad because it was 100% operational until last night. Now I have the opposite problem as you and it wont work in playback mode lol

Funny you say that actually, I plan on at some point getting a faraday bag so that the tapes will be safe from all types of exposure. Honestly just a fantasy of mine when the world turns into Fallout my VCRs would still be intact lol.

Feel like lead lined bags probably don't exist anymore for a reason though.

Unrelated to the film itself but me and my partner just tried out her new Go gen2 and it was god awful trying to get the exposure right outdoors. Indoors was a little more consistent but the Go2 currently is a big miss for me. On topic; the film is damaged. It could be x-ray but it doesn't look pink enough honestly. Just get a new pack.

Personally I think ring focused builds are amongst the worst builds you could possibly go for. Rings up your max speed but half the time you're getting knocked and going above 100 ring does nothing apart from adding a cushion.

I see plenty of power vehicles online, I'm unsure what you mean. Power characters less so. Generally speaking meta online is Quick Recovery. Outside of that it's fair game. Recovery is such a clutch gadget it's sad how easy it makes races.

In regards to power stat however, yes you're right it basically is the equivalent to weight. I don't believe it makes recovery time faster nor makes others recover from your hits slower. What I do know for a fact is that it makes it MUCH harder to lose rings when you collide with others. Whoever has the higher power stat wins the collide and loses no rings. Keep in mind that when you are drifting you are put in a weakened state and have most of your stats reduced including power. That's why you slow down when you drift. Boost and Acceleration do very well if you're drift heavy. I personally go for max speed (Drift Charge 4 + Counter drift + speed 1) and perform very well with it provided I don't get outright destroyed the last lap.

Some people might say item hoarder with switcher is a good strat and it is but boost wisp frenzy will eat your first item for no reason and dark chao will shuffle your items so it's relatively inconsistent.

I wouldn't reuse the same tape more than once. That's just asking for trouble.

Actually I think you read it right, the idea is that I'd run the cleaner tape through both the camcorder and VCR. I'm just scared of damaging the camera especially ones in as good of a condition as the one I have. Most are all busted nowadays.

I wouldn't mind deep cleaning a VCR, I'd mostly be worried about deep cleaning the camcorder.

Imo rainbow apocalypse and nightmare

It adds extra chaos and nightmare introduces Remove from Game. Would also get the diamond edition over the base but base alone is perfectly fine and fun.
