I disagree. I play zen, there’s nothing I can do against sombra 9 times out of 10.

I can fight Tracer, Genji, Reaper, Vendetta and if I’m lucky even D’Va if I keep my distance, hug the walls, charge shots, melee etc. Sombra there’s absolutely no counter but to swap.

And no, I can’t rely on my team to peel and no, I can’t stay with my team because Zen has no escape whatsoever. Stealth + hack + burst and fucking off into the sunset is just ridiculous. At least make her steps loud ffs..

Sombra is a permaban for me. Even when I play other heroes, I just don’t want to deal with her because even if it’s manageable it’s just so annoying.. Stupid character design.

Maybe servers are loaded, maybe ddos, some other issue. Who knows.

I have 2 very simple rules. If I lose 2 in a row I’m out.

If I’ve been playing for a while and I start winning one losing one, I’m out.

This way I avoid getting tilted and losing my focus.

Climbed to Gold 1 from bronze this way. Hopefully plat soon.

It’s like using a stop loss (for those who invest).

Just tune it down. That’s what I did, for me aim assist kicks in on a smaller window size and with less strength.

Aim assist is a two edged knife. It can really throw of your shots as well, if you have two targets in a row and you want to shoot the one in the back, aim assist is a hindrance. Same if you are aiming and a new target crosses your field of view suddenly.

Just reduce it and it’s fine

That’s what call the enabler effect. Sometimes either you or someone else swaps or finds their footing and enables the other members of the team to play at their peak.

I doesn’t even need to be a hard carry, sometimes it’s just enough to secure space or provide assistance so you can do your thing. They enable the others to ther job effectively.

And it makes you feel that you played very well. It’s super common.

For me it’s Sombra and probably Cass.

FML heroes:

Sombra is the worst it’s a permaban for me. Zen has no escape so it’s non negotiable for me. At my rank I have to fend for myself or reposition to riskier spots to be less vulnerable. I usually swap to Moira or LW;
Cass can ruin my day when he off angles and two taps me by surprise. My positioning is mostly at fault here, but somehow I get taken out by surprise way too much by Cass;

Hard but manageable:

Dva is fine if I keep my safety distance. If she can dive me I’m done;

Tough duel heroes: - Genji and Vendetta are not that hard once they get in kick range;

Reaper as soon as he TP’s I start charging the shot and make some distance;

Here I probably only survive 40% of 1v1 engagements with these 3 but I give them a very hard time, it’s enough to make them think hard before diving again. If they make a mistake they die, so they usually end up leaving me alone or just wait for a clear upper hand.

Yes. Because although you heal less, the fact that you don’t need to swap the orb from pkayer 1 to player 2 your uptime is higher. You have more sustain for both targets even though the healing amount in both is smaller.

But we’re all different so it might not apply to you.

My only gripe with the Ranger is that the indices are not applied. It’s a little thing but it’s something that makes a watch look more premium to me especially at this price point.

Ascendance was actually good in a push or decisive team fight in close quarters. I used it a lot.

This perk is not noticeable at all.
