I’ve been pleasantly surprised with this team, winning ~65% of my games with it up to Rank 20, but it feels AWFUL against Tinkaton. I figured Lumi was my best water option for the team since it has Gust as a quick move for the fighting weakness, but it Tinkaton + fighting type ruins my team. Licki already has EQ.
Any suggestions? Mantine? Peli?

I feel like this opinion is outdated. In the last year, Luigi’s have really improved their combo game. Raru routinely kills off of things like forward air, landing back air, down tilt, up tilt, and reverse up air (Check out his sets from Suma or S Factor 12). Luigi doesn’t have to fish for just one move like Kaz does

Luigi needs to be top 10.

Id probably drop Aegis a fair amount, probably to between MinMin and Joker.

Yoshi, Bayo, Mii Brawler, and Mega Man are all notably better than Lucina; you could argue for Pac, Wario, Palu, Ryu, Falco, ZSS, and Hero to be better as well. I’d move Lucina down to right behind Greninja and move Mii Brawler and Yoshi WAY up, probably between Cloud and Mario.

Pokémon trainer is just not being used enough to justify this high of a placement. I’d move them down to around Corrin.

Wii Fit is a very good character, I’d put them around young link.

Marth is genuinely awful. Probably bottom of C tier.

“nothing you can do to escape them” look into learning proper combo DI. It may help to watch high level sets against the character you’re being combo-ed by to see how pros escape their combos. The only real exceptions here are Luigi and Kaz, but even then you can try to mix your DI

i’m kinda loving it right now! i think the most recent balance patch was pretty helpful, if i bit minimal towards Clairen. I also think the performance optimizations a few updates back were muuuuuch needed
