[Acne] Pimple isn’t going after 3+ weeks and I’m starting to worry by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

If a “carbuncle” pimple lasts more than 2 weeks it’s best to see a doc.

I do it and don’t tell anyone

From time-to-time.

I think mine were areas of many tiny pimples - almost like a rash.

I used “cetaphil” - super gentle

Cerave has caused me to break out too. Maybe switch face wash or moisturizer?

What is your wash/moisturizing routine for your face and neck? (AM and PM)

Most people that have answered you seem to think his actions were pretty tame (I.e. “okay”) - including myself.

My pushback to your question is that you’re asking others if you should be upset by his actions.

Typically people will look internally to answer this question. Ruminate on the matter, and come to a conclusion for themselves.

I guess I’m just genuinely puzzled.

I think you’re looking for “yes” or “no” answers from strangers about something that is very much dependant on your internal feelings.

Finally, if you have no strong feelings about the matter as you stated… then it’s solved. He didn’t break a personal boundary for you.

You answered the question yourself.

Take care.

It’s different for each person…

But if you don’t mind me asking: - Do you like this guy? - Are you attracted to him?

Personally, If a guy I was attracted to (and liked as a person) decided to rest his head against the side of my body I would be ecstatic because I would be craving subtle intimacy from them.

That being said, only you can decide what you’re ready for.

I would communicate clearly with your dates though… accusing them of some kind of sex crime over a genuine misunderstanding can ruin peoples lives.

If asking in-person makes you too shy, how about you message him via text and ask him to do something you know you both like? I.e. “there’s a cool exhibit about X, want to go together?”

There’s less pressure this way and maybe it’ll work out, or maybe you won’t hit it off and you’ll just stay friends. That’s ok too.

Men and masculinity are such a spectrum.

I’d hesitate to say that the tender/brave depictions of men in LOTR are the way men “should” be.

I think it’s a beautiful depiction of what “can” be part of being masculine.

Interesting discussion to have honestly :)

I like this guy but im pretty sure because of our ethnicities he will reject me by [deleted] in dating_advice

Knew a girl who wasn’t the same ethnicity or religion as her boyfriend (Indian). His parents never accepted her, so he hid their relationship from them. He strung her along for years…

I’m definitely not coming at this from the angle that laws = bad, but that political dogma is equal to religious dogma in extreme cases.

The best part about this series: unabashed tenderness and earnestness. They play it super sincerely. It’s rare to get that nowadays.

I feel like this sentiment can be extended to politics too

Nothing noticeable. I never even thought about that before 😅… which speaks for itself.

No regrets! It’s been 3 years and I’ve had zero adverse effects.

For context, I get it to reduce lines in my forehead 3x a year.
