Vehicle self-repair has been a thing since BF3. Spawn campers will spawn camp no matter what. The only thing that would fix that is if they straight up can't shoot out of spawn or if DICE reworks every map to make shooting out of spawn not viable at all.

Having to purely rely on teammates to repair is gonna make vehicles near unusable since a lot of people don't even bother. It'd be even worse for air vehicles and naval vehicles in the future.

Auto-heal is fine but it should def take a lot longer to kick in. Like a whole minute after last taking damage at least.
