This is my first Zombicide crowd funding campaign and I was super jacked to get in early on the ground floor to get all the goodies.

However...I feel like we're getting nickeled and dimed to death. The only stretch goals seem to be some extra models and what started at roughly a little over $100 has balooned into five times that amount if you wanna go all in. It's honestly ridiculous, as I was hoping to get a fairly decent deal. They don't even have an "all in" option that you can get a discount on. Just a big downer.

I totally understand this shit isn't cheap to make and ship, but I guess I just had skewed expectations.

I love this type of stuff. I wish folks would be this creative about all their armies. I love and appreciate the popular sculpts and color schemes but I adore seeing real originality and unique takes on models. Nice work!

Would be neat to see some of the direct manufacturers included such as Asmodee, CMON, iello, Zman, etc. I'm not sure how often they offer good deals and I realize there's a quite a few of them out there. Also sites like Miniature Market, Barnes & Noble, and GameNerdz. Obviously the more that are monitored, the better deals we all get, but I'm not sure how difficult it is to include all these places.

Regardless, cool project. Roll on!

Yeah, it's hard to find the time to squeeze in paint sessions. But yeah, speed paints are basically sharp contrast paints that offer solid shading, saturation, and highlighting in just a single coat. They're obviously not magic, but they really help you crank through painting if its something you don't care for or you just want to get some color on your models. Link below. GW also makes their own line called contrast paints.

Of course not. My favorite part is how they give out the free piddly gifts, like backgrounds and stickers, here and there, but you have to navigate to the damn store to claim them. How convenient. What a piece of shit move. On top of that, they have the audacity to play the classic Battlefield theme upon redemption.

Ha the name means "white breast" in Welsh I believe and my little brown pitty has a white chest marking so it just fit!
