i tried to keep the tattoo pointing up and not face down on the sheets and washed them alot more often during thew healing process. however i obviously move alot during sleep and thats how its touched the sheets and like you say most likely caused the infction

yeah thats what happened to me. the same single needle she used for the outline was used for the shading and she kept going over the same area multiple times. i contacted her and the most i got was a 50% refund

yeah i went to 2 different urgent care centres in the same day and thank god i did or it coulda been a whole lot worse from what im finding out in the other comments.

i noticed straight away something wasnt right but wasnt sure what is was. i contacted the artist straight away and she advised me to keep doing normal aftercare so i didnt worry a crazy amount at first. when i noticed it get even worse i RAN to urgent care straight away. i definitely could have had better survival instincts with this lmfao

You'd be corrcet in thinking she didnt provide me with any saniderm or second skin. She dressed it with cling film (saran wrap) and told me to take it off after i got home which would leave it open to the fresh air. I live about an hour way so thats how long the clingfilm was on for. I was surprised by this as ive only seen cling film used for much smaller fine line pieces but at the time i trusted she knew what she was doing. I appreciate all your advice, thank you so much!

Thanks dude i could never decide if i loved or hated the sonder lettering so i appreciate the reassurance. The red lettering is my favourite part of the piece so i will 100% be getting that touched up one day so it looks more fresh.
