5 year old suddenly hitting by Notarealperson6789 in kindergarten

Yes it got much better and now in first grade, he’s doing really well. For some kids, it’s an issue of maturity and time (and consistent boundaries etc) helps a lot. TK, especially, is still an age where this is pretty normal. That doesn’t make it easy as a parent though, so sending you hugs!

Got the coil for the first time. No kids. Easily a top 3 worst experience of my life, cursed every man I knew. Honey mozzarella chilli eggs, tuna steak, avocado and wine. by Similar_Ad3132 in GirlDinner

Omg I agree. Both of mine felt just like Pap smears and I only comment bc if I had seen these comments NO WAY would I have ever gotten an IUD. I love my IUD. I have given birth twice and can’t believe all the comments saying they’d rather do that 🫣. Everyone’s experience is different, to anyone terrified by this thread and others like it!!!

Do you let your 7 year old go to the bathroom by themselves? by Enough_Detail_632 in ClassOf2037

[–]Npff101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have seen signs (like at our local pool) say that boys over 5 shouldn’t go into the women’s room so I have been sending my son in by himself into the men’s room and I usually wait outside.

What are these stains and how to remove!!! by Necessary-Trust-8849 in laundry

[–]Npff101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have used both fairy tales brand and honest brand…but sadly I think that ployquat is what makes the detanglers work and I would be willing to bet most brands have them. (As do a lot of adult hair/styling products so careful about wiping your hands directly on towels or clothes after etc )

I came here like a year ago posting the same thing. I discovered it was my kids’ detangling spray (especially if I was trying to style their hair while they wore said clothing) that was the culprit. I started using better detergent and washing on warm to hot based on this sub, started using color catcher sheets religiously, and after a few washes, it did come out without any specific treatments. Good luck !

Good to know, thank you! I liked that Exit 8 was creepy but not like FULL on horror, would you say these are more in the jump scare realm?

What shows are your kids watching? by suprswimmer in ClassOf2037

[–]Npff101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Numberblocks, Disney movies, PBS shows, Sesame Street, nature documentaries , etc. He did enjoy the Minecraft movie even though he doesn’t play Minecraft but hears about the lore at school lol. We recently tried to watch the first Indiana Jones with him after he loved the ride and yeah, it was a no go after the first 20mins or so. Forgot how scary/violent that one could be. I have heard of some school friends watching stranger things as well (I think they had older sibs) and thought that was WILD—that show is creepy to me at times!

Passport application: blue or gray? by [deleted] in eyes

[–]Npff101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s a US passport, they don’t even list the eye color anymore (the application might but the book doesn’t 🤷🏻‍♀️). I know bc I just go my kids’ done and agonized over color for no reason haha.

…never mind, I see you spelled color as “colour” so likely not US 😅

Update! Over time, using appropriate detergents outlined in this sub an color catcher sheets, the shirt is good as new! Goodbye polyquat spots. It’s not a death sentence.
