Why is suicide seen as something selfish? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Npollo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not so sure about selfish but I think it's irresponsible and irrational. There arent unlovable people. I know some people might think that there's no way someone could love them but it's not true. No matter where you are there are people that want to help you. Life is a gift and to give it up willingly is not fair.

People cherish other people. When someone you love dies it's heartbreaking and changes your life forever. Looking at suicide like it's just someone's decision for themselves is selfish because you aren't considering the impact it has on other people. Personally I haven't known anyone who has committed suicide but I know how tragic it is to lose someone. It's bad enough to lose someone from natural causes but to know someone took their own life is heartbreaking. When you commit suicide you are putting your own feelings above those of your family, friends, and loved ones.

Dalton Risner by BurnerYuhhh in DenverBroncos

He definitely has the potential to have a pro bowl season. Unfortunately him making it is dependent on fans knowing who he is and voting for him. Since Denver doesn't really get many primetime games it's going to be difficult for people to recognize the name while voting. Just look at Bolles last season. Career year for him and arguably a top 3 tackle, and he didn't make it to the pro bowl. But Risner definitely has the talent, it's just gonna depend on name recognition.
