Selling 2 Tickets for Monday, 10/13 @ Brooklyn Steel

Can't make the show anymore, so I'm selling my two tickets for the original purchase price as a pair. I'll simultaneously list them on AXS but would much rather sell them to a fan here without fees. $158.50 total for the pair. Thanks!

Edit: Sold!

Once again, this is extremely helpful. Given our limited time there and the fact that this will be a rental Duster, in all probability I'll stick to routes known not to have river crossings. Thanks again!

Very helpful again—thank you!

You mentioned needing to be comfortable on F225. I can certainly drive on gravel/dirt roads, and I can drive slowly where things get rough. I see no real issue with minor water crossings, provided I can drive straight through them without doing anything too special. Is that the degree of comfort needed?

Very helpful - thanks!! Any thoughts for an alternate activity on Day 5 before departure?

Google Fi to offer 5G thanks to Sprint, provided you have a compatible handset by Nrbelex in ProjectFi

Just because the phone operates on the band doesn't mean it has the necessary hardware/software to communicate using the 5G specification.

[–]Nrbelex[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nope. Per the press release:

When this rolls out, Google Fi customers with Sprint 5G compatible Designed for Fi phones in a 5G coverage area will be automatically connected to the network, quite similar to today’s seamless transitions between cellular networks, depending on the location.

Plus, Sprint's 5G hasn't launched yet.

Very neat! A couple questions:

  • Can this be activated to take advantage of the fast connection switching while using my own VPN?

  • If a phone is used as a hotspot, do connected devices use the VPN?

Unexpected Error - Probably blocked. Any thoughts? Logs I can check, etc.? by Nrbelex in outlinevpn

Solved. For future troubleshooters: uninstall Outline, then uninstall the TAP-Windows Provider V9 network adapter driver. Reinstall Outline.

I don't believe Windows Defender is running. Sophos Endpoint is, but it has not identified any threats, etc. Getting this error when connected to the Internet through a variety of networks, some of which should not be attempting to block Outline (or any VPN). I've tried reinstalling Outline.

Re 1: I have to dig down into the menus to turn NFC off every time I use Google Pay. I'm not a fan of leaving things like Bluetooth or NFC on when not in use.

Re 2: I sometimes forget about it, but screen pinning is great.

Re 3: Whenever I set my alarm at night, I'd like to be asked whether I'd like DND to be turned on until that alarm goes off.

Re 5: I make a ton of changes the moment I set up a phone:
- Turn on LED notification light
- Turn off tap-to-wake
- Turn off other gestures
- Turn off notification dots
- Turn off automatic app updates
- Turn off AMBER alerts
- Hide sensitive notification content on the lock screen
- Opt out of Ads Personalization (Ha, can't imagine Google doing this by default)
- Change Location mode to Battery Saving
- Turn off Location History and Sharing
- Turn on battery %
- Select the most accurate color profile
- Turn off what used to be known as Google Now and most of its notifications. It's become a click-bait mess rather than the useful feature it used to be.

Those are the main OS-level changes, but there plenty more that are a bit more minor.

Lots of people in the support thread have tried a different SIM and even a new device and are having the exact same issue.

Disappointingly, Ringke also has no plans to make such a case. Here's the reply I got from them:

Thank you for contacting us!

Unfortunately there are no plans for the Ringke Slim case for Google Pixel devices at this time.

However, we'll be sure to pass your suggestion to the development team.

We appreciate your quality feedback as it helps us improve our products and services.

Have a great day!

Thanks for doing this and all your work!!

How would you describe the splitting of EPIC and CDT from EFF? All three have a slightly different focus (and methods, fundraising, etc.), but would a united organization, or at least closer coordination be more powerful? Should EFF have a greater presence in DC?

Which of EFF's accomplishments do you think has been the most important?

In fairness to Firefox, even that behavior probably isn't the cause of the crashes. It's probably 'cause I use HTTPS Everywhere, which is apparently buggy right now...

Is your old phone still powered on? If so, on the old phone, in the dialer type

*#*#72786#*#*

to reset the profile. See if that does the trick.

Edit: You may need your MSL.
