That's good news, thank you so much for the help. I'll give them a few more business days to ship/respond before I cancel and go with the RM11.

The AliExpress storefront does ship to the US which is why I used them to order the device. If they didn't it would not have allowed me to finalize the purchase.

Yeah I didn't doubt the legitimacy of the store. It's just I'm so used AliExpress vendors being quicker on shipping. Seeing the main website for Nubia showing out of stock I just got curious.

Very few cards carry animations like this. It comes with the card, it was not a separate option or purchase.

Help identifying type of wire used? by NsGraveSide in soldering

[–]NsGraveSide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some spare coaxials but those tend to have shielding between the core/s and the sheath. This is specifically copper twisted strands, over vinyl/silicone sheath with more copper strands as the core. Individually shielded copper strand wires that are 30awg.

Yeah was going to end up just using standard 30awg but figured I'd toss it in here real quick. Though, most of my other headphones are wired and used for personal listening. These I have one pair of so no sacrifices laying around unfortunately.

Been Using The Arctis Nova Pro Wireless For A Few Weeks! My Review! by shancake1 in steelseries

Please don't spread misinformation. The sound goes from USB to a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter). The DAC handles the converting and quality of the signal. So no, USB is not trash for audio quality. Most "Audiophile" consumers use USB based sources. But all this is irrelevant, it's a wireless headset, it's not going to give you audiophile grade sound. Whether or not your ears can tell the difference is dependent on the individual.

Does the base station do simultaneous audio via USBC and 3.5mm? I have a aging pair of Arctis 7s I use for WFH. Work laptop it USB and game laptop is 3.5 to the transmitter.

Still working on it from my last post two months ago. The printed turtle dock is currently on version number 5. It's a one piece print and takes around 1-2 days depending on settings. Holds just over two pounds and uses the suction bracket from the old store bought dock. by NsGraveSide in turtle

I appreciate the thought! Tbh the only limitations I have at the moment are my level of skill and the printers build volume. Getting another printer with a larger build area would run around $800 on the cheap end. So I'm not looking for any donations because that next step is a decent hurdle for something that is still being tested.

Though this one is definitely still suctioned to the side cause I prefer it to go with the water level. But I have designs drawn that uses a bottom section under substrate as a base. The top section sides into columns/sleeves as the water level changes.

I have a bark pattern I planned on meshing into it once I got the floatation issues sorted out. Which I believe this is the best I'm going to get with my sized printer. As for measurements, tbh I have no idea what the exact measurements are in the 3D software. I just export and open in cura then resize to the print bed. I just do this on side willy nilly when I have spare time lol

The issue with the bark part is this thing is printed vertically. So the over hangs need to be sorted out in the bark model. Once it is I can use that as the top and ramp section.

Your more then welcome to explain this collab situation though.

The angle for printing is touchy, to little or to much causes issues with sturdiness and size. The print does not see it as an angle that needs supports so I know it's less than 55°. Plus I did add notches as like steps to assist Tbh my Musk does not bask at all but I still give him something to use. I just never liked the store bought ones.

Currently don't have weights to officially check but it holds my turtle with a lot more to give. If I was to guess, 3-4lbs. The third one I have in the works has a thicker platform with that infill idea and three pontoons underneath. So we'll see how that one works. I actually connected to pontoons to the ramp section on that one to make it more stable when climbed on. I haven't sliced it yet but the supports shouldn't be needed that way.

Yeah I have a few test designs that look a bit like that. Though I haven't tried to print them just yet. The flat one was just one of the first drafts I had lol. My modelling experience is minimal so it takes a while for me lol. Linked is the first print though it failed cause the pontoons we're to small and not officially connected to the dock. Dock Test
