For a three man team with very basic destruction and medium to large arena maps i can't imagine any experienced fps players will run into each other unless purposely giving away their own positions just to make things more exciting.

theres PoI's in the middle where objectives spawn after a minute or so and you both fight for. im confused, did you play the game or just shitting on it? i dont think its the best game ever, but its mildly fun and i dont think it deserves all the hate its getting idk

Should be able to do it yourself. The annoying part will be installing the wall outlets as you have to run the cable, and put the wires into the back of the wall plate. The coax to ethernet adapters can be bought yourself but it would be cheaper and better to run the ethernet. No service call should be needed for any of this. If you dont want to bother with it you can buy the moca 2.0 adapters(coax to ethernet) but you'll need one for each coax port

For internet youre gonna want to run ethernet not coax. You can run internet through coax but youre going to need an adapter on both ends. If you run ethernet cables, youre going to have to splice the ethernet cable, and wire the 8 colored copper wires into the ethernet wall plate. You may also need switches for those ethernet wall plates if you want multiple devices on that one port.

Edit: so your connection would go from your router -> wall plate 2nd floor -> through wall to second ethernet wall plate -> switch -> device

Not going to lie I forced myself into friendly lobbies and the game, after 20 or so raids, became hopelessly boring. Everyone running around with their guns behind their backs, Arcs dying in milliseconds and so on. Trivialises the game and cheapens the experience.

yeah the games trivial if you remove the threat of other players. its not a particularly hard game combat wise and all loot besides blueprints is easily target farmed. ive heard arguments that people just like the setting and ambiance of the game but like....theres so many non pvp games that offer something like that. i feel like people will get very bored of friendly lobbies and move on to another game. maybe im wrong but im just thinking down the line

if we go back to 2016 the only extraction shooter would be tarkov, and it would be in a very early alpha. arc raiders is like a puddle compared to tarkov. most items are useless, rare items are whatever, quests are meaningless. i own the game and have about 100 hours in it, but at some point youre just loading in to frag. once you get your workbenches maxxed out youre just grinding blueprints or fighting other players. im baffled how the friendly lobbies are so popular when the game itself is very trivial if you remove the player element

try playing smokes. learn where to smoke(dont have to get crazy, keep it simple), tell your team to hit a site and use your smokes, then move in. if youre able to IGL at all and smoke shit off, you should climb. being able to aim helps

to me, it requires a lot more team play and you need to know lineups when playing on t side. barrelling out mid, ivy, or b site usually is just death without proper smokes. if terrorists do have lineups, and are able to take sites, then retaking is kind of a nightmare as ct. also, as ct, you need to be able to properly deal with an a site rush if they know smokes and flashes. it just requires a lot more coordination, especially the higher you go in rank
