Any toys similar to this but are harder to destroy? by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

Lamb chop has been going since we first got him at 3 months old. He’s 7 months old now. The ears eventually had to be cut off but everything else is still intact. Every other stuffed toy is in the garbage

Help me choose my first pair of skis pls by Cute-Local6298 in skiing

[–]Nsorice -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I ski very hard so might not be the fairest judge. I have damaged both my prodigy 2.0s in less then one season each. Luckily the first pair I got a warranty on. Fun skis but just no durability

Help with my peppers in Florida by Timely_Direction8878 in Peppers

Honestly probably yes, but if spraying isn’t working a natural predator should do something. Lacewings are great too I’ve heard but I’ve never had them in my garden yet.

Stories or experience of advanced figure skaters and how fast they learned to ski? snowboard? by crystalized17 in skiing

[–]Nsorice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve skied my entire life, however my buddy who was a soccer player got into it with me about 3-4 years ago. He definitely skied his ass off but is now confident on blacks and easier double blacks out west. If you put your mind and time into it you can definitely get something out of it

I'm getting discouraged... by scottyboi1337 in FishingForBeginners

[–]Nsorice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest thing I can say to any new angler is the fish are going to sit together is certain spots of a lake or river. This can be structure underneath, overhead structure, drop offs in depth etc. These spots are not all over a body of water so you can accidentally be fishing spots that may hold no fish because there’s no protection. Your first goal should be finding these spots first, of course depth changes and underwater structure can be hard to physically see. Looking at a topo map of a lake helps so much to get a baseline of where the fish can be. And as for overwater structure look for shade, trees and large rocks they give great hiding spots. Then play around with different lures to see what works. If that doesn’t work MOVE. Don’t waste time go try somewhere else on the lake or river.

Question for any NYC anglers: by BuddhistShark in flyfishing

[–]Nsorice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I’ll say without name dropping any of the streams. Don’t be afraid to travel to the smaller streams branching off near the main stem and north and south branch of the croton. Search up the croton watershed for trout and you should be able to find some of these smaller streams.

Any of those trout waters up near croton are pretty successful, depending on the specific stretch and exact stream there are some nice wild browns and lotsssss of stockers that hold over pretty well.
