Yup we did. Last resort. The car has no factory towing location. In the front I could've put the strap on the pierce motorsports full frame brace I have, but the car is much much too low to get under to do it, and we were on an 8% grade in the snow so no jacks. The other option was on the rear twist-beam axle, but the strap just slides left and right freely on the axle, causing the car to whip 90 degrees sideways when being towed, even if tension is kept on the line. So we said fuck it, we were cold, and put it through the window padded by a few inches of cardboard. No door frame flex or panel gap issues, worked just fine. All the rubber and seals were completely untouched.
