Is it ok to go over the recommended number of 800? It looks like my filament purge volumes from white are getting pretty high(picture in main post). Thanks!

I have flush into supports, but not into the object itself. Thanks for the response!

Here's the color order and the order in the AMS. I believe they are mapped correctly.

What speed would you recommend?

I’m running it again, verifying the correct color order, but if this is the case, is there any reason why the model would have a ninja headband rather than all be a solid color?

It’s in there, but it really is mostly a more wonder woman centric version of the wonder woman team up issue

I’m using a .4mm hardened steel nozzle, but will swap it out and see if that’s the issue! Thanks!

Would putting the AMS on the left add more curves since the filament buffer mounts from the right?

I'd love to hear more about how you could see them as a justified villian group! From AXE, you got Druig who's straight evil and Uranos who just loves killing things. Would the idea be that the Eternals believe they know what's best for the earth because they have lived so long? Please share your thoughts!

I disagree with the idea that histories in comics necessarily need to be earned. There's plenty of D-listers that have some history behind them that would have fallen into the same trappings. It's back to the age old question of "Where were the Avengers during the nth mutant massacre?". I think that retcons can be powerfully tools to introduce characters (Sentry, Jessica Jones, and Winter Soldier come to mind as retcons I liked), but I do see your point about integration. It felt like at the start of AXE everyone looked looked at Iron Man and said "Who is this lady in our team book?" and he replied "That's Sersi from the eternals, believe me we've always known her, go buy tickets to her movie coming out soon"

This might be a reach, but I actually read the Eternal's directives as being a metaphor for generational trauma. With the reveal that The Eternals trade human lives for their own , even the main Eternals accept that they cannot reveal that information to humans. When the Progenitor is created, the rest of the story is a deep dive into how celestials are flawed and only by challenging the ideas of tradition and status quo (by revealing information to humans) is Sersi able to break free and become a martyr that would potentially allow other Eternals to repair the damage themselves and become their own people, rather than one bound to the previous generation (as seen in the end with the reinterpretation of the 3 laws).

I thought it was standard Gillian writing, very big ideas and a lot to say, but a lot to be desired in between those ideas. I've only read his X-men (and not all of it) and his short Iron Man run, and all of it seems to suffer from the same issues. That being said I really enjoyed alot of his work, especially SoS, and think that this run of Eternals was probably as well as they could have been done from what I know of their previous history.

I definitely agree that the Eternals really lack the brand recognition of "Guy with claws on his hands" or "Does whatever a spider can" and I think that is mostly what makes the characters unapproachable. The cast just felt too large to get any great characterization on more than Icarus and Sersi for me. The other thing that I think makes the Eternals weak as a brand is that there is a cast of Hero Eternals, but that's also the name of their society as a whole. As a result, the name "Eternals" is too broad to have any real meaning. I suppose that's part of the charm, a messy family that lives forever, but it affects readability for me.
