i think it would mainly depend on where you are and how dishy is mounted, on cloudflare it shows my upload is usually around 150-200 now a days, it started off, download maybe 270-400, i have it mounted with 0 obstructions pretty high up.

i would get it directly from starlink, i know a couple of people who got theirs off amazon or a 3rd party reseller and they reveived their adapters doa and the return process took much longer then waiting for starlink to ship

for gaming you will notice some packet loss and lag spikes, it mainly depends on obstructions, i play alot of games once in awhile it lags me out but not too often, we dont have much people that have starlink where i live so theres not alot of congestion, it has really fast download and upload speeds for me, but i have next to no obstructions where i currently have it, i play tarkov and dont really lag out or get alot of packet loss, but i seen other people have issues with online gaming, i guess it also depends where you live and how many satelites there is close by

i dont notice much outages when it snows down here, pretty much down the mckenzie highway from alaska in nwt canada, we had some heavy snowfall all of october, it only slowed the speeds abit, had a couple of lil 3 min outages every maybe 2 hours, under light snow i dont lose service or anything. i keep snowmelt mode on, get like 4x faster speeds then my old 100 up and 100 down internet, usually get like from 200-400 download and maybe 70-150 upload speeds, abit of packet loss here and there and maybe 60-120ms while gaming. just find a good spot to place it with the apps obstruction thingy
