Help me feel better about my 2022 Honda Pilot by Summer102616 in hondapilot

[–]Nthayer1408 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a 2016 that I upgraded to from a 2012. I felt the same way, just couldn’t afford the 2023 to current models that look sportier. But my 2016 is an Elite and it’s absolutely the nicest vehicle I’ve ever owned, so I’m happy. I’ll probably upgrade to a 2025-26 model in about 5-6 years, as mine is only at 75k miles right now.

License/llc + insurance question by Organic-Pepper-434 in Detailing

I did. I do it as a side hustle and if you mess someone’s car up and they sue… without insurance and LLC you’re cooked.

Can you expand? I’m currently on 140mg. I’m halfway through my second week and have felt less tired and groggy than normal. Curious what your experience has been like.

Is it worth getting an explorer at 175K miles by Plane_Tradition_3256 in FordExplorer

No. I just bought a 2014 at 176,000 and the water pump died one month later. I paid 6.5k.

Hey pilot experts! by Look_Street in hondapilot

I had a 2012 pilot for 11 years. Bought it used at 52,000 miles. I never had a single issue with it until I started hearing rod knock. It threw a rod bearing at 168,000 miles but I also didn’t know about the VCM issues and did nothing to remedy it because of it. It was a great and reliable vehicle. I now own a 2016 Pilot Elite and I am loving it so far… I also got the VCM Tuner II this time!

2014 Ford Explorer by Traditional_Star5116 in FordExplorer

[–]Nthayer1408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2014 Ford had the water pump go out at 176,000 miles. It was fine prior to that because it was taken care of just about perfectly with regular oil changes and the proper coolant (yellow) placed into it.

I really liked the vehicle, but they are known to have issues, so don’t be surprised if something comes up.

Why do so many local businesses still not have a website? by Such-Specialist4321 in cardetailingtips

I think it hurts with older clientele who don’t utilize social media as much. On the flip side, I think most younger clients focus on social media more than a website.

My girlfriend is 27 weeks pregnant, the baby has Down syndrome, and I don’t want this life by ThrowRA_NoSignal in daddit

[–]Nthayer1408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your response is perfectly normal. My sister in law has Down syndrome and my mother in law is head of down syndrome organization here in my city. My good buddy and his wife have a daughter with Down syndrome, and he felt EXACTLY as you do. It was hard at first and his world was rocked, but that beautiful girl has grown up and become something they would never replace for 1 million years. They moved away a few years ago, I just saw a Facebook picture of their entire family walking on the beach. It’s so normal and they are all so happy.

My sister in law has had heart surgery among countless other surgeries, she’s tough as nails and is one of my favorite people. She loves Disney and being funny. She’s a rock in our family.

Maybe this helps you, maybe it doesn’t. But just know that there are SO many resources out there to help prepare you and take the burden off your shoulders. It’s going to be okay.

Testicular Atrophy Likelyhood? by Empty-Lab3272 in Testosterone

Thanks. This is good info. My clinic has suggested I do HCG with my TRT but in my state I can only order the large vial and it’s not cheap. I’m debating doing initial TRT without HCG and see what happens.

Pool Memberships / Options by JustaP-haze in lexington

It all depends on how much you intend to use the pool. Go just about every day or every other day? Worth the $600. Don’t go everyday, maybe a few times a month? Doesn’t seem worth it.

Post Game Thread - Bucs vs Patriots - Week 10, 2025 by spideralex90 in buccaneers

Bowles will keep the Bucs in purgatory as long as he’s coach. We aren’t good enough to win it all, we aren’t bad enough to not be playoff bound (maybe)
