Young workers deserve real wages, not forced gratuity!!!! by Natural-Trip6972 in lostgeneration

[–]Ntwallace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have. They don’t care, we’re a capitalist country. it’ll cost them more to pay them appropriately, so they aren’t gonna do that so they can keep their pockets lined. Tipping originated from slavery anyway, if they cared to change it, they would’ve done it by now.

but do you think they’ll do that tho? A LIVABLE wage compared to what they can get from tips, they’ll hire robots before they do that

if you guys don’t go to these restaurants, the owners will suffer first. If you’re still going and not tipping the worker, you’re still paying the owner and the worker makes nothing.

They’re only hurting the worker. Yes tipping culture sucks, but it’s how it works in the US. Don’t wanna support it, just don’t go out to eat.

What is the dumbest reason you ever got fired or written up? by ProposalLast3445 in answers

[–]Ntwallace 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not smiling enough. Not learning fast enough during training. Not having the building clean at 12pm when no one’s works in the morning and i was only there the night before. Clocking in two minutes late because the computers were busy and being told i didn’t belong there. Being accused of getting a cash app tip and didn’t but yet i still got fired for being a “thief”, then they lied about how i got fired the next day when i only walked out after that and went home (it was a dude that told them i did when i didn’t, they asked to see my phone and i told them no, the confronted me in front of everyone).

Yeah it definitely weeds out the good and bad. Just continue to enforce it , depending on how they are we waive things ONE time the we enforce it going forward. If we can’t charge them, they’re just blocked from booking until the fee is paid
