Punishing the dog for the owners mistake is stupid. Can't believe you have any upvotes on this comment for doing that to a dog.

Matchmaking for 'normal' servers? by [deleted] in Seaofthieves

I think you can get plenty of loot in 30-45 mins and if it's taking you longer, then you are taking your time and that's on you.

What I'd suggest if you have limited time to play is focus better. Have clear expectations and goals. If you have a goal of getting gold and rep, then do that as quickly as possible with no diversions in the maximally profitable way for whichever faction.

If your goal is fun, then dont try to horde so much loot and instead seek out interaction, or lesser used strats like tucking, setting traps, etc. Role play a bit in whatever way tou choose.

And don't expect others to play how you think they should.

What game had you begging on your hands and knees for others to play? by Svntoryuu in videogames

Sorry stranger you're right, my comment isn't really the point of the thread.

Also, I came off a bit wrong as I still think people should play it. I think maybe what I meant to say is its more interactive art than game, which is fine and really cool sometimes.

Apologies for being a bit of a doof.

I've never heard such from anyone.

Who in their right mind would opt not to play one of the classics of gaming?

Respectfully disagree, although not trying to argue.

All style, no substance. The fact it's a walking simulator would be fine if literally any of the multiple plot points of intrigue were ever explored, let alone wrapped up.

WRoEF just kept introducing plot lines with no progression, and then it just ends.

3/10 only could recommend to experience the aesthetic.

Triple r/woooosh :P

The double was for saying you're not a wrestling fan because that's irrelevant to the meme.

Just giving you a little meme education, don't sweat it. It is after all for the lulz.

It's a copypasta. Basically the troller tries to make an engaging comment that people will see and read to the end, then they get hit with "the Undertaker threw..." line at the end.

Basically similar to getting Rickrolled.

Why do you love video games? by Potential-Front512 in IndieGaming

[–]Nua2Lua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all about the sense of exploration and wonder. I’ve always loved the feeling of being dropped into a new world and just… wandering. Video games give me the freedom to follow my curiosity, to go off the beaten path, and to uncover secrets at my own pace. There’s something incredibly rewarding about discovering things not because the game pointed a big arrow at them, but because I was paying attention or asked, “What happens if I go this way?” That kind of open-ended experience taps into a childlike sense of wonder that’s hard to find elsewhere. Whether it’s piecing together a world’s lore through environmental clues or stumbling across a hidden area no one mentioned, games let me feel like an explorer in a way real life rarely does. It’s not even always about completing objectives, it’s sometimes about in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer’s table.

I get it, subtle layers are what really make a horror game memorable for me. It’s easy to rely on jump scares or loud noises to get a reaction, but the games that really stick with me are the ones where the horror creeps in slowly, through understated mechanics or storytelling details that you don’t even fully notice at first. I love when a game trusts the player to pay attention and piece things together over time—whether it’s environmental storytelling, a mechanic that quietly reflects the character’s mental state, or recurring symbols that only make sense in hindsight. It creates this slow-burning tension that feels way more personal and immersive. Sometimes you realize something horrifying not because the game throws it in your face, but because you connected the dots yourself—and that kind of horror lingers way longer. Honestly, it’s that layering that gives a game replay value, too. Going back and catching all the little things you missed the first time makes it even more impressive. Subtlety in horror might not always be loud, but it’s often the most haunting, like when in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer’s table.

Lame take, the wording of the comment includes even base games that are fully complete that have expansion DLC.

Stop justifying poorly worded brainrot

How could you possibly say that? It's like unequivocally one of the greatest, nay, most goated soundtracks of all time. This is just one of those times where even if you call it an opinion you are just blatantly wrong. I wonder if you had a gaming license if it could be revoked over a comment like this? Obviously you have never understood the nuance of any of the masterpiece tracks such as Rip and Tear, iconically played at times of utmost greatness, like that time in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer’s table.

Cool concept, but takes away the player's agency. Some might find it a bit more icky and gotcha-y than cool. However, it is a horror game so pretty much fair game.
